Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure waterproofing services for the Bethlehem office of the Land Bank. The goal is to ensure the office building is properly waterproofed, including repairs and application of waterproofing materials, to maintain the integrity and functionality of the premises.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Waterproof repair of the Bethlehem Office located at 16 Van der Merwe Street, Bethlehem, 9700.
• Covering an area of approximately 42.5m² for painting and waterproofing.
• Preparation of surfaces, removal of tiles on solid walls, and application of waterproofing and reflective aluminium paint.
• Unblocking and flushing drains, replacing damaged ceiling boards, and painting ceilings with interior paint.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications for the waterproofing services include:

• Removal of tiles on the solid wall (42.5m²).
• Preparation of ABR roofing and wall surfaces.
• Supply and application of touch-on waterproofing material on 42.5m².
• Application of silvakote waterproof reflective aluminium paint on 42.5m².
• Unblocking and flushing of 25 drains, including those on the 4th floor flatlet.
• Replacement of damaged ceiling boards and painting with white Dulux interior paint.

The work must be completed at the specified office location with adherence to quality standards and safety regulations.
