Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) Training services for the Department of Forestry, Fisheries & Environment. The training aims to enhance the skills and knowledge of officials through accredited online courses, culminating in certification of competence.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Provision of Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) Training for one (1) official.
• The training must be conducted online, with a maximum duration of 3 months.
• The course content should cover, but not be limited to, accreditation, course level (NQF Level 4), and assessment with certification upon completion.
• All delivery costs and applicable taxes (VAT, PAYE, income tax, UIF contributions, skills development levies) must be included in the bid price.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications for the training include:

• The service provider must be registered with the Employee Assistance Professionals Association of South Africa and provide proof of registration.
• The training must be an online course with a maximum duration of 3 months.
• The course should be at NQF Level 4.
• Assessment and certification must be provided, with certificates of competence issued upon successful completion.
• The course content should include accreditation, course level, and conduct details.

Skills Requirements

The skills and qualifications required from the service provider include:

• Proof of registration with the Employee Assistance Professionals Association of South Africa.
• Experience in delivering online training programs at NQF Level 4.
• Ability to provide assessment and certification services.
• Compliance with accreditation standards and the ability to deliver quality training within the specified timeframe.
• Provision of a comprehensive course that meets the technical specifications outlined above.
