Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure a qualified service provider to conduct employment equity training for the NHFC Employment Equity and Training Committee. The training aims to promote employment equity, eliminate unfair discrimination, develop and monitor employment equity plans, facilitate stakeholder consultation and engagement, and oversee training and skills development aligned with BBBEE requirements.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Providing training on employment equity practices in the workplace.
• Focusing on promoting diversity (persons with disabilities, racially diverse individuals, LGBTQ+ employees) at all organizational levels.
• Addressing the elimination of unfair discrimination through policies and practices.
• Developing and monitoring employment equity plans with clear goals, timelines, and corrective measures.
• Engaging stakeholders and broad staff in inclusive decision-making.
• Supporting transformation and career advancement for designated groups in line with BBBEE.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the tender include:

• Experience in delivering employment equity training to both public and private sectors, with at least three (3) different clients.
• Facilitator qualifications in Human Resources Management, Labour Relations, Industrial Psychology, Education, or related fields, with proof of qualifications.
• Detailed CV of the proposed facilitator(s) demonstrating relevant experience in facilitating employment equity or similar training (minimum 3 years, with distinctions for more experience).
• Provision of training materials that are comprehensive, user-friendly, and include value-added resources such as videos, templates, and post-training support.
• Demonstration of the ability to deliver training at the required location (around Johannesburg).

Skills Requirements

The skills required from the service provider include:

• Proven experience in conducting employment equity and diversity training.
• Qualified facilitators with relevant tertiary qualifications and extensive facilitation experience.
• Ability to develop and deliver engaging and practical training materials.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills to ensure inclusive participation.
• Capacity to provide value-added training resources and post-training support.
• Experience in working with government or corporate entities on employment equity and BBBEE initiatives.
