Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver various petroleum and fuel products, including Automotive Diesel Fuel, Aviation Fuel (Jet A-1 and Avgas), Heavy Furnace Oil (HFO), Illuminating Paraffin (IP), Marine Gas Oil (MGO), and Unleaded Petrol, to the State for a period of sixty (60) months.

Scope

The scope encompasses the procurement, supply, and delivery of the specified fuel and petroleum products to designated State institutions over a five-year period. The contract includes the provision of multiple fuel types, ensuring continuous availability and timely delivery as per the requirements outlined in the tender documentation.

Technical Requirements

• Supply and delivery of specified fuel products including Automotive Diesel, Aviation Fuel (Jet A-1 and Avgas), Heavy Furnace Oil, Illuminating Paraffin, Marine Gas Oil, and Unleaded Petrol.
• Compliance with relevant specifications and standards for each product type.
• Delivery to designated source points, which may include distribution depots or factories.
• Adherence to delivery periods, maximum monthly delivery rates, and minimum order quantities.
• Provision of accurate product information such as brand name, catalogue number, make and model, and country of origin/manufacture.
• Pricing based on unit prices, with considerations for currency conversions, foreign exchange rates, and applicable price escalation mechanisms.
• Implementation of service plans where applicable, measured as a percentage of the delivered price.
• Ensuring supply capacity aligns with contractual commitments over the duration of the contract.
