Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure services for the painting of runways, taxiways, and aprons at aerodromes, ensuring clear and standardized markings in accordance with Annex 14 standards to enhance safety and operational efficiency.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Preparation and painting of runway, taxiway, and apron markings as per specified standards and figures (e.g., Figure A4-2, Figure 5-3).
• Provision of necessary stencils and markings, including runway designator markings and alphanumeric stencils.
• Completion of works involving asphalt road marking and painting, including repairs, new installations, or rehabilitation works.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements encompass:

• Adherence to Annex 14 — Aerodromes standards and specifications for markings.
• Use of approved stencil types (Annexure A and B) for runway designators and alphanumeric markings.
• Implementation of markings with correct proportions and dimensions as specified in the standards (e.g., Figure 5-3).
• Provision of proof of equipment ownership or lease for all required machinery and plant used in marking works.
• Demonstration of experience and capability to execute asphalt marking and rehabilitation projects.

Skills Requirements

The tenderer must demonstrate:

• Company Experience: At least three completed projects related to asphalt road marking and painting within the past 10 years, supported by completion certificates and client references.
• Supervisor/Foreman Experience: Proven experience of key personnel in asphalt marking, painting, and rehabilitation works, supported by comprehensive CVs.
• Equipment/Plant: Ownership or valid lease agreements for all necessary marking machinery and equipment.

Additionally, bidders must meet a minimum overall threshold of 90 points out of 100 based on functionality criteria to qualify for further evaluation.
