The primary objective of this tender is to source manufacturer-specific infusion pumps, syringe drivers, and accessories (BD) for Frere Hospital on a rates-based contract over a period of 24 months. The aim is to ensure the hospital can procure, supply, and maintain standardized infusion equipment, with the capacity to deliver, install, commission, demonstrate, and train end-users as required.
The scope includes the supply, delivery, installation, commissioning, demonstration, and training of Becton Dickinson (BD) infusion pumps, syringe drivers, and related accessories at Frere Hospital. The contract covers equipment already in use at the hospital to ensure standardization, with the possibility of increasing quantities as needed across various wards and departments. The contract is rate-based, with equipment supplied as and when required over 24 months or up to R1 million, whichever occurs first.
