Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure and supply a total of 186 ICT devices, comprising 136 All-in-One (AiO) desktops and 50 laptops, to the Limpopo Province for the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development (DOJ&CD). The procurement aims to modernize the department's ICT infrastructure, replace obsolete equipment, and ensure all devices are covered by a 5-year OEM warranty. The project supports DOJ&CD’s strategic goal of providing accessible, efficient, and accountable justice services through enhanced technological capabilities.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes:

• Provision of 136 AiO desktops and 50 laptops, including all necessary accessories and peripherals, with a 5-year OEM warranty from the date of delivery.
• Delivery of devices to the specified address in Limpopo (92 Bok Street, Polokwane).
• Asset tagging of all devices prior to dispatch and updating the Department’s Asset and Configuration Database (CMDB).
• Ensuring BIOS updates with DOJ&CD asset information.
• Delivery and deployment within 6-8 weeks from the date of Letter of Award, with all devices to be finalized within one month.
• Compliance with technical specifications, OEM accreditation, and certification requirements.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements specify that:

• Devices must be based on pre-approved brands: Desktops: Mecer, Acer, Lenovo; Laptops: Dell, Lenovo, Huawei.
• All devices must meet the following specifications:
• Desktops: All-in-One form factor, Intel Core i7 12th Gen or latest, 16GB DDR4 RAM, 500GB SSD, 24” FHD display, Windows 11 Enterprise, 5-year warranty, and necessary ports and accessories.
• Laptops: 12th Gen Intel Core i7, 16GB RAM, 500GB SSD, 13.9”–15.6” FHD display, Windows 11 Enterprise, 5-year warranty, and accessories.
• All devices must be OEM accredited, SITA-certified, and accompanied by valid OEM and SITA certificates.
• Provision of full product datasheets, accurate descriptions, and compliance documentation from OEMs is mandatory.
• Devices must be asset tagged, BIOS updated, and delivered with appropriate accessories (keyboard, mouse, locks, etc.).
• Devices must conform to applicable standards including electrical safety (ISO 62368/60950), EMC (EN 55032), and government interoperability standards.
• Suppliers must provide a 5-year OEM warranty with onsite support, including replacement within 8 business hours for hardware malfunctions.
