Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to solicit quotations from prospective service providers for the supply and delivery of cleaning materials to Inxuba Yethemba Municipality. The aim is to ensure the municipality is adequately stocked with essential cleaning supplies to maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes the provision of various cleaning materials as specified in the specification and pricing schedule. The items required include toilet paper, pine gel, liquid floor polish, all-purpose cleaner, bleach, furniture polish, multi-insect odourless spray, hand wash, de-odor blocks, dishwash liquid, toilet spray, washing powders, and other related cleaning products. The delivery must be made to the municipality's designated locations as specified in the tender documents.

Technical Requirements

• Provision of specified quantities of cleaning materials as per the schedule.
• All prices must include VAT unless the bidder is non-VAT registered, in which case prices should be exclusive of VAT.
• Submission of certified copies of identity documents of directors.
• Submission of municipal utility bills or lease agreements reflecting the status of accounts.
• Inclusion of municipal declarations: MBD 4 and MBD 9 forms.
• Submission of CSD report and SARS PIN or Tax compliance certificate.
• Quotations must be signed or stamped with a company seal.
• Quotations should be valid for 60 days from the closing date.
• All submissions must be in a sealed envelope marked with the quotation number and delivered before the deadline.

Skills and Requirements

• Registered suppliers with a valid Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration.
• Compliance with the municipality’s Supply Chain Management policies.
• Demonstrated ability to supply quality cleaning materials within the specified quantities and deadlines.
• Provision of BBBEE status level certificate or sworn affidavits to qualify for preferential points.
• Ability to provide all required documentation, including municipal utility bills, ID copies, and tax compliance certificates.
• Capacity to deliver goods to the specified locations within the stipulated timeframe.
