Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure a service provider capable of supplying and delivering inputs for Amanzi and Poultry Coop projects, ensuring timely and quality delivery of equipment, poultry farming materials, and related inputs to support municipal development initiatives.

Scope

The scope encompasses the supply and delivery of various equipment and materials across three main categories:

• Coop 1 – Amanzi Equipment: Reverse osmosis systems, water tanks, filling stations, pressure vessels, pumps, filter media, dispensers, ice machines, and related water treatment components.
• Coop 2 – Poultry Farm Equipment: Layer cages, poultry feed, point-of-lay hens, egg trays, and related poultry farm accessories.
• Coop 3 – Poultry Farm Equipment: Broiler feed, vaccines, drinkers, feeders, bedding, lighting, water tanks, pumps, and miscellaneous farm tools and accessories.

The delivery must be completed within two months from appointment, and all inputs are to be delivered to specified locations in Mnquma Local Municipality.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications include:

• Equipment must meet the detailed specifications outlined in Annexure A, including capacity, model, and operational features.
• All water treatment components must be compatible with municipal standards and capable of producing potable water.
• Poultry equipment must adhere to specified sizes, capacities, and standards for biosecurity and efficiency.
• All items must be new, unused, and conform to the latest models with all recent design improvements.
• Suppliers must provide warranties, warranties, or defects liability periods as specified.
• Delivery must comply with the stipulated timelines, and penalties will be imposed for late deliveries.

Skills Requirements

The successful bidder should possess:

• Proven experience in supplying water treatment and poultry farm equipment, demonstrated through past projects (Annexure B).
• Capability to meet technical specifications and quality standards outlined in the tender documents.
• Qualified personnel with expertise in installation, commissioning, and after-sales support of water treatment systems and poultry equipment.
• Ability to provide technical assistance, training, and documentation as required.
• Compliance with municipal procurement policies, including adherence to supply chain management regulations and preferential procurement points system.
