Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure the supply and delivery of meat and frozen products on an “as and when” required basis for a period of three (3) years at Tutuka Power Station. The focus is on ensuring quality, compliance with relevant standards, and the ability to meet the operational needs of the power station over the contract duration.

Scope

The scope of the tender encompasses the provision of meat and frozen products, including their timely delivery as required by Tutuka Power Station. The scope also involves adherence to quality management systems, documentation, and contractual quality plans to ensure the products meet specified standards and customer requirements throughout the contract period.

Technical Requirements

1. Quality Management System (QMS) Compliance

• Demonstrate objective evidence of a documented QMS that complies with ISO 9001 standards, even if not certified.
• Provide a QMS Manual or equivalent documentation defining the scope and quality method statements.
• Include approved Quality Policy and Objectives, with top management approval.
• Maintain records as per ISO 9001 requirements, including control of documented information, nonconforming outputs, nonconformity, corrective actions, and internal audits.

2. Evidence of QMS in Operation

• Provide documented information on roles, responsibilities, and authorities within the QMS.
• Control of externally provided processes, products, and services must be documented.

3. Contract Quality Plan

• Draft a Contract Quality Plan specific to the scope of work, aligned with ISO 10005 standards.
• The plan should include key QA deliverables as outlined in the tender documents.

4. Additional Customer and Standard Requirements

• Complete and sign Form A to confirm customer-specific requirements and other standards.

Score for Section E: 1 point
