Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver Medical Male Circumcision (MMC) packs to the Limpopo Department of Health over a period of thirty-six (36) months. The aim is to ensure the availability of quality MMC packs to support HIV prevention strategies, reduce new infections, and improve men's access to health services in line with national guidelines.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Provision of MMC packs containing sterile instruments, consumables, and medical supplies necessary for safe male circumcision procedures.
• Delivery of MMC packs to designated health facilities across Limpopo Province, with expiry dates not less than three years from the date of delivery.
• Replacement of damaged packs and items as needed.
• Adherence to specified quantities, packaging, labeling, and documentation requirements.
• Provision of all items listed in the detailed item list, including surgical instruments, gloves, gauze, syringes, and other consumables.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• MMC packs must be sterile, properly packaged, and clearly labeled with expiry dates, batch numbers, and manufacturer details.
• Expiry dates must be at least three years from the date of delivery.
• Items must meet the specifications outlined in the scope of work, including quantities, packaging, and quality standards.
• Replacement of damaged or defective packs and components must be undertaken promptly.
• All supplies must comply with relevant health and safety standards and regulations.
• Bidder must provide proof of compliance, including licenses, certificates, and references of previous supply contracts.

Skills and Capacity Requirements

The bidder must demonstrate:

• Experience in the supply and delivery of medical supplies, specifically MMC packs, with at least 60 months of relevant experience.
• Provision of a portfolio of current and completed contracts, including references and proof of successful delivery.
• Financial capacity to support supply commitments, evidenced by bank statements, credit facilities, or funding arrangements.
• Operational capacity, including ownership or leasing of delivery vehicles and logistical resources.
• Compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including registration with the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and valid licenses from relevant authorities.
• Ability to deliver within 30 days of official purchase orders and maintain consistent supply over the contract period.
