Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure a supply and delivery of one (1) new four-door passenger sedan vehicle suitable for municipal administrative and operational use, compliant with South African road legislation. The aim is to ensure the municipality receives a quality, compliant vehicle that meets specified technical standards and safety features.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Supply and delivery of a new, unused four-door passenger sedan vehicle.
• The vehicle must meet detailed specifications outlined in the tender document, including engine performance, dimensions, safety, interior, exterior, and branding requirements.
• Delivery within 60 days of official order, including registration, licensing, and pre-delivery inspection.
• Branding with municipal logo and fleet number, with branding completed prior to delivery and covered by a minimum 24-month warranty.
• Provision of warranty and service plan, with support within a 50 km radius of Ndlambe.

Skills & Technical Requirements

Procuring service providers must demonstrate:

• Experience and expertise in supplying similar vehicles
• Ability to meet detailed technical specifications and quality standards
• Capacity to deliver within the stipulated timeframe
• Provision of warranty, after-sales support, and maintenance services within the specified radius
• Compliance with all legal, safety, and environmental standards

Additional Requirements

Suppliers must:

• Complete all bid documentation, including forms and declarations
• Provide a municipal billing clearance certificate, tax compliance certificate, B-BBEE certificate or affidavit, and CSD registration report
• Submit a sample of materials and data sheets for quality confirmation before award
• Agree to negotiate rates based on the top three bidders’ prices if appointed to the panel
• Ensure branding is completed prior to delivery and covered by warranty
