Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver office stationery to Kusile Power Station on an as-and-when-required basis over a period of five (5) years. The aim is to ensure a reliable and consistent provision of office stationery to support the operational needs of Kusile Power Station.

Scope

The scope encompasses the supply and delivery of various office stationery items as specified in the tender, to be provided on an as-and-when-required basis for a duration of five years at Kusile Power Station. The tender includes all necessary logistics, handling, and delivery services to meet the station's requirements.

Technical Requirements

• Adherence to Eskom's Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) requirements and legal obligations.
• Preparation of a comprehensive Health and Safety Plan addressing project-specific risks.
• Baseline OHS Risk Assessment (BRA) including identification, assessment, and management of risks, with methodology provided.
• Provision of valid Letter of Good Standing (COIDA or equivalent).
• Submission of an OHS policy signed by the CEO, compliant with OHS Act Section 7.
• Implementation of risk mitigation measures, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and control measures.
• Compliance with Eskom's safety standards, including use of PPE, safety signage, and safe work practices.
• Regular plant inspections, medical screenings, and safety audits.
• Proper handling and management of hazardous materials, such as ash dust, coal dust, and chemicals.
• Effective communication and training on safety procedures and risk management.

Skills Requirements

• Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety regulations and standards.
• Ability to develop and implement health and safety plans and risk assessments.
• Experience in hazard identification, incident reporting, and safety audits.
• Competence in hazard mitigation, including the use of PPE and safety signage.
• Skills in plant inspection, medical screening coordination, and safety training.
• Proficiency in handling hazardous materials and implementing control measures.
• Effective communication skills for safety briefings, toolbox talks, and incident reporting.
• Ability to monitor and evaluate supplier quality performance and compliance.
• Capability to manage safety documentation, reports, and audits in line with Eskom standards.
