Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure and supply protective clothing for the Storm Water Project managed by Sakhisizwe Local Municipality. Scope

The scope encompasses the supply and delivery of specific protective clothing items, including:

• Two-piece polycotton overalls/work suits in blue, with embroidered municipal logos and safety features compliant with ISO 20345 standards.
• Cricket hats in navy, branded with the municipality logo, made of heavy brushed cotton, one size fits all.

The procurement covers the full process from sourcing to delivery, including bringing samples for approval, ensuring materials meet quality standards, and providing the specified quantities as detailed in the specifications.

Technical Requirements

• Work suits must be of good quality, embroidered with "Sakhisizwe Municipality" at the back, and meet safety standards including ISO 20345 with steel midsole.
• Safety shoes must be SABS approved, made of genuine leather, and suitable for construction and storm water environments.
• Cricket hats must be branded with the municipal logo, made of heavy brushed cotton, and one size fits all.
• All materials must be approved by the municipality for quality standards.
• Samples of materials must be presented prior to purchase.

Skills and Qualifications Requirements

• Potential bidders must demonstrate experience in supplying protective clothing, with references to similar completed projects.
• Suppliers should possess the capacity to meet quality standards, including embroidery, branding, and compliance with safety regulations.
