The 80/20 point system shall apply whereby a contract will be allocated to a tenderer in accordance with the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act, Act No 5 of 2000; Section 2(1)(d)(i),Preferential Procurement Regulation 2022. And as in line with Gert Sibande District Municipality SCM policy. 80 points will be allocated in respect of price and 20 points of GSDM specific goals. The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver reagents and consumables for the Discrete Analyser (Gallery Plus) to the Gert Sibande District Municipality Water Quality Laboratory. The service aims to ensure the availability of necessary reagents and consumables on an as-needed basis over a period of twelve (12) months from an appointed panel of service providers.
The scope encompasses the procurement, supply, and delivery of specified reagents and consumables required for the Discrete Analyser (Gallery Plus) instrument at the Water Quality Laboratory. The contract covers the period of twelve (12) months, with provisions for as-and-when-required deliveries from selected panel members. The scope also includes adherence to technical specifications, quality standards, and contractual obligations as detailed in the tender documents.
