Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a suitable supplier to provide school stationery items for learners in Vaalputs, Northern Cape Province, as part of a back-to-school campaign initiative.

Scope

The scope includes the procurement and supply of various stationery items tailored to different grades (Grades 1 to 7) for Vaalputs learners. The items must be individually packed and packaged separately per grade and learner. The delivery of all items is required in Vaalputs, Northern Cape Province, by 20 March 2026.

The stationery items include exercise books, flip files, photocopy paper, plastic covers, erasers, glue sticks, pencils, colouring pencils, rulers, scissors, sellotape, sharpeners, exam pads, calculators, and other related materials as specified per grade.

Technical Requirements

• All stationery must meet the specifications outlined for each grade, including quantities and item descriptions.
• Items must be individually packed, with separate packaging per grade and learner.
• All prices must be firm, excluding VAT, with VAT indicated as a separate line item.
• Delivery must be completed in Vaalputs by 20 March 2026.
• Suppliers must provide compliance with mandatory requirements, including previous supply references, tax compliance, and registration on the Central Supplier Database.
• Quotation must include all relevant documentation and adhere to the specified format.

Skills Requirements

• Proven experience in supplying school stationery or similar educational materials, supported by at least three reference letters from previous clients.
• Ability to package items individually and deliver within tight deadlines.
• Compliance with procurement regulations and supplier registration requirements.
• Capacity to provide competitive and accurate quotations, including detailed pricing and documentation.
• Knowledge of relevant standards and specifications for school stationery items.
