The tender seeks to establish a reliable supply chain for specialized components while ensuring strict adherence to South African public procurement legislation, emphasizing transparency, fiscal responsibility, and socio-economic transformation.

Scope

The successful supplier will be responsible for the end-to-end supply and delivery of a defined set of specialist materials to the iThemba LABS site in Faure. The scope encompasses:

• Havar foil (high-strength non-magnetic alloy, 0.05mm thickness, 150mm × 150mm, specific cobalt/chromium/nickel/wolfram/molybdenum/manganese composition)
• Macor machinable glass-ceramic rods (300mm length, multiple diameters ranging from 6mm to 25.4mm)
• Tungsten wire (1.6mm diameter, 99.95% purity, annealed/soft condition, 1000mm length)
• Tantalum rod (6.35mm diameter, 99.9% purity, annealed, 1000mm length)
• All associated packaging, logistics, and delivery charges

Pricing must be submitted in South African Rand, inclusive of VAT, with immediate delivery required upon contract award.

Technical Requirements
