The primary objective of this tender is to procure a supplier or manufacturer capable of providing and delivering traffic signs, clamps, bolts, and nuts to Mossel Bay Municipality over a three-year period (from 01 July 2026 to 30 June 2029). The goal is to ensure the municipality has a reliable supply of compliant traffic signage and related hardware to support road safety and traffic management needs.
The scope encompasses the supply, delivery, and off-loading of a comprehensive range of traffic signs as detailed in section 2.1.1 of the tender document. This includes various types of regulatory, command, prohibition, reservation, warning, guidance, and temporary signs, with specific sizes and codes as listed. All signs must meet detailed specifications, including materials, reflectivity, and key performance indicators. Delivery must be within 20 working days of order receipt, and the signs must be supplied with ready bars where specified.
Additionally, the scope covers the supply of clamps, bolts, nuts, brackets, stands, and other accessories necessary for the installation and maintenance of traffic signs, adhering to the technical standards outlined in the tender.
