The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver trainable working dogs for a period of three (3) years, catering to both the local and international markets. The initiative aims to enhance the capabilities of the South African Police Service (SAPS) in visible policing and operations through the provision of trained working dogs.
The scope encompasses the procurement of various breeds of working dogs, including Belgian Shepherd, Border Collie, German Shepherd, Rottweiler, Australian Shepherd, Jack Russell, Labrador, Dutch Shepherd, Dobermann x Bloodhound, and Bloodhound. The contract covers both local and international markets, with delivery to SAPS Dog School Roodeplaat. Quantities are not guaranteed and will depend on actual requirements during the contract period.
