The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a service provider for the supply and delivery of various chemicals, solvents, compounds, and certified reference materials required for the South African Weather Service (SAWS) and the SAMNet project. The aim is to ensure the availability of high-quality chemicals and reference materials necessary for environmental sampling, analysis, and research activities related to mercury in freshwater ecosystems.
The scope includes the supply and delivery of specific chemicals, solvents, compounds, and reference materials as detailed in the RFQ. The items include acids, alcohols, solvents, nanomaterials, and reference standards, with quantities specified for each. Delivery is required to the GAW office at Cape Town International Airport, and the contract covers the procurement of items listed in the specifications, ensuring compliance with technical and quality standards.
