The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver various types of grease on an "as and when required" basis over a period of 5 years at Tutuka Power Station – Main Stores. The aim is to ensure a reliable and consistent supply of quality grease products to support the operational needs of the power station.
The scope encompasses the procurement, supply, and delivery of various grease products as specified in the tender documentation. The contract covers a period of 5 years, with the supplier providing grease on an as-needed basis, ensuring availability for maintenance and operational activities at Tutuka Power Station.
The technical requirements include adherence to Eskom’s quality standards and specifications, specifically aligned with ISO 9001 standards. The supplier must meet pre- and post-contract quality requirements, including site assessments, capability and capacity assessments of main and sub-suppliers, and compliance with Eskom’s quality audits and management of nonconformities. Special processes and quality principles outlined in the tender must be followed, ensuring the products meet the specified specifications and quality standards.
