The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver water and wastewater treatment chemicals to Mkhondo Local Municipality on an "as and when required" basis over a period of twenty-four (24) months. The aim is to ensure the municipality's ongoing access to quality treatment chemicals to support water and wastewater treatment processes.
The scope includes the procurement, supply, and delivery of various specified water and wastewater treatment chemicals, such as aluminium sulphate, calcium hypochlorite, coagulants, chlorine gas, sludge dewatering polymers, and bio-remediation products. The chemicals must meet specified standards, composition details, and quality requirements, including compliance with relevant standards (e.g., NSF, ANSI, ISO). Delivery is required to multiple treatment plants within the municipality's jurisdiction, with the chemicals to be supplied as per the municipality's needs on an "as and when required" basis for 24 months.
