Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to solicit qualified service providers for the supply and rental of gas bottles to support the workshops at Sasolburg sites on an as-and-when basis. The College aims to establish reliable partnerships to ensure continuous and efficient workshop operations, with a focus on local supplier participation where possible.

Scope

The scope of the tender encompasses:

• Supply and rental of gas bottles for workshops at Sasolburg sites on an as-and-when basis.
• Participation in the College’s broader procurement activities, including potential inclusion in a panel of suppliers for various services and goods.
• Adherence to specified technical and administrative requirements as outlined in the tender documentation.

Additionally, the College invites registration and participation across multiple categories, including services such as photocopying, gardening, auditing, web maintenance, transportation, air conditioning, PPE supply, cleaning, printing, medical testing, steel supply, catering, and marketing materials, among others.

Technical Requirements

Service providers must comply with the following technical and administrative prerequisites:

• Submit a valid SARS tax clearance pin to verify tax compliance.
• Provide a current CSD report; submissions without it may be disqualified.
• Submit a municipal rates and taxes account (not in arrears for more than 3 months) or a lease/rental agreement for business premises.
• Ensure compliance with the National Treasury quotation defaulters register; disqualified if listed.
• Complete and submit the company profile and registration application form, limiting registration to two commodities per service provider.
• Adhere to the College’s Supply Chain Management Policy and the National Treasury Regulations, with evaluation based on an 80/20 price to B-BBEE score ratio.
• Participate in compulsory site visits where indicated, and submit tenders in sealed envelopes with proper endorsement.
• Understand that no pre-payments will be made; payments are contingent upon delivery and completion of services or goods.
• Ensure confidentiality of submissions in line with POPIA regulations.

All tenders must be submitted before the closing date and time, with late submissions not accepted. Tender documents are available online from 15 September 2025 to 9 October 2025.
