Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure a supply of a Motor combined with a Gearbox, specifically an Incudrive combined motor and gearbox with specified technical characteristics, to meet the operational needs of Onderstepoort Biological Products Ltd. The procurement aims to ensure the delivery of reliable, compliant, and high-quality motor and gearbox units that adhere to specified technical standards and performance criteria.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes the supply of:

• Five (5) units of Incudrive combined motors with gearboxes.
• Technical specifications covering motor characteristics, gearbox type, reduction ratio, efficiency, input speed, torque, and other performance parameters.
• Compliance with government procurement policies and relevant standards.

The scope also encompasses the submission of all required documentation, including specifications, catalogues, and Certificates of Analysis (COA), and adherence to the evaluation criteria based on price, preference, and BBBEE status.

• Capability to deliver within the specified quantity and timeframe.
• Understanding of BBBEE certification requirements and preference point systems as per the Preferential Procurement Framework Act.
• Competence in providing after-sales support and technical assistance if required.
