Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure training services on Advanced Excel, ensuring participants gain practical skills in creating, editing, formatting, and printing spreadsheets, aligned with the specified SAQA ID 116937. The training aims to enhance users' understanding of spreadsheet principles and enable them to produce accurate and professional spreadsheets.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Provision of training on Advanced Excel based on the specified technical specifications.
• Assessment, moderation, and certification of participants.
• Compliance with accreditation requirements and facilitator qualifications.
• Adherence to evaluation and administrative compliance criteria.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications specify:

• Use of a GUI-based spreadsheet application to create and edit spreadsheets.
• Number of participants: 21 learners.
• Training must cover the following specific outcomes:
• Understanding principles of spreadsheets.
• Creating, opening, saving, editing, formatting, spelling, grammar, and printing spreadsheets.
• Facilitators must be accredited by relevant bodies (QCTO, CHE, SETA, UMALUSI) and possess appropriate qualifications.

Skills Requirements

The service provider must demonstrate:

• Accreditation with recognized bodies (QCTO, CHE, SETA, UMALUSI).
• Facilitators with qualifications at NQF level 3 or above, preferably level 4 or higher.
• Experience in delivering similar Excel training projects, supported by reference letters.
• Ability to conduct training, assessments, moderation, and certification processes effectively.
