Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a professional service provider(s) to deliver gardening services for the PPECB Grabouw Office. The contract duration is three (3) years with an option to renew for an additional two (2) years based on performance.

Scope

The scope of work includes providing gardening services to maintain the outdoor areas of the Grabouw Office, including:

• Lawn mowing and trimming
• Collection and removal of litter
• Maintenance of trees and shrubs
• Tree trimming
• Cleaning of gutters
• General cleaning around the office
• Cleaning of sidewalks at entrances
• General maintenance and cleaning of the premises outside the building

Services must adhere to the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993. The service provider is responsible for providing appropriate labour, machinery, tools, and materials. The services are required once a month or as needed, including during office relocations within Grabouw.

Technical Requirements

• Provision of labour, machinery, tools, and materials for high-quality garden maintenance
• Service delivery during the day between 08H00 - 16H00 as required
• Service provision at the current address: 7 Bosbou Avenue, Grabouw, 7160, and at any new location within Grabouw during the contract period
• Compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993
• Attendance to site as needed, with services scheduled once a month or as required

Skills Requirements

• Experience in providing gardening services, demonstrated through a comprehensive CV of the managing Director/Manager
• Proof of valid registration with the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC)
• Capability to provide labour, machinery, tools, and materials to ensure high-quality maintenance
• Understanding of health and safety regulations applicable to gardening services
