Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure legislative lifting machines operations (LMO) training for the Central East Cluster, which includes the KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) and Free State Operating Units. The training is to be provided on an "as and when required" basis over a period of thirty-six (36) months, ensuring that personnel are adequately trained to operate lifting machines in compliance with legislative and safety standards.

Scope

The scope encompasses the provision of comprehensive LMO training services to the specified clusters within the stipulated period. The training must align with legislative requirements and include all necessary modules to ensure operational competence. The service provider must deliver training as needed throughout the contract duration, supporting Eskom’s operational and safety standards.

Technical Requirements

• Implementation of a Quality Management System (QMS) compliant with ISO 9001 standards, including documented policies, objectives, and method statements.
• Evidence of a QMS in operation, including documented roles, responsibilities, authorities, and control processes for externally provided processes, products, and services.
• Completion and signing of Form A to confirm adherence to customer-specific requirements and other standards.
• Provision of objective evidence demonstrating the QMS's effectiveness and compliance with specified standards.

Skills Requirements

• Proven experience in delivering legislative lifting machine operations training.
• Ability to develop and implement a Quality Management System aligned with ISO 9001 standards.
• Capability to provide documented evidence of QMS in operation, including responsibility matrices and control procedures.
• Competence in understanding and meeting customer-specific requirements and standards.
• Qualified personnel with relevant expertise in lifting machinery and safety regulations.
