Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to upgrade the sewer rising main along Sandhoogte Road in Great Brak River. The project aims to lay a new sewer rising main to improve the sewer infrastructure in the area, ensuring better sanitation services and compliance with relevant standards.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Construction of the upgraded sewer rising main along Sandhoogte Road in Great Brak River.
• Use of local labourers in accordance with EPWP regulations.
• Sub-contracting 20% of the contract to a local EME, QSE, or Level 1 B-BBEE registered contractor with a CIDB grading of 1CE or higher, registered on the Contractor Development Programme database.
• Multi-year project with completion targeted by 30 June 2027.

Technical Requirements

Contractors must:

• Hold a CIDB grading of 6CE or higher.
• Have relevant experience in laying sewer or water pipelines.
• Attend a compulsory site and information meeting scheduled for 27 November 2025.
• Submit fully completed tender documents that remain valid for 120 days after the closing date.
• Obtain tender documents at a non-refundable cost of R798.00 including VAT, reserving them by 24 November 2025.
• Ensure tender documents are placed in a sealed envelope and submitted by the deadline of 23 January 2026.
