Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure services for the repair of faulty gates and cracked brick pillars at Ngqeleni Magistrate Court. The aim is to restore the structural integrity and security of the facility by addressing specific issues related to gates and brick pillars.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Repair and refurbishment of faulty gates at Ngqeleni Magistrate Court.
• Restoration of cracked brick pillars associated with the gates or surrounding structures.
• Ensuring the repaired structures meet safety and durability standards.
• Carrying out all necessary preparatory, remedial, and finishing works related to the above tasks.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the tender include:

• Having a CIDB contractor grading designation of 1 GB or higher.
• Meeting functionality criteria with a minimum score of 50% to qualify for evaluation.
• Providing proof of registration on the National Treasury’s Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• Submitting fully priced Bills of Quantities and relevant documentation as specified.
• Adhering to the specifications outlined in the Terms of Reference and Scope of Work documents.
• Complying with health and safety regulations, security clearance, and confidentiality obligations.
• Participating in site inspections and bid clarification meetings as required.
• Providing detailed project plans, programmes, and cash flow forecasts within stipulated timelines.
• Demonstrating relevant experience and capacity through previous projects and qualified personnel.
• Adhering to the evaluation criteria, including preference points for specific goals such as BBBEE status, local procurement, and enterprise development.
