Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure transportation services for 480 people attending the Ingquza Hill Tourism and Heritage Event. The aim is to select qualified service providers capable of providing safe, reliable, and cost-effective transport solutions to facilitate the event's successful execution.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes:

• Provision of transportation for 480 attendees from various wards of Ingquza Hill Local Municipality to Flagstaff Town Hall and back.
• Transportation services scheduled for 27 September 2025, including pick-up and drop-off at designated ward points across all 32 wards.
• Adherence to specified routing, vehicle capacity (15-seater taxis), and service standards.
• Compliance with all technical, safety, and legal requirements as outlined in the tender documentation.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the tender include:

• Provision of 15-seater taxis for each ward, with detailed routing and passenger allocations per ward as specified in the specification schedule.
• All vehicles must be in good working condition, properly maintained, and compliant with relevant safety standards.
• Service providers must submit a detailed pricing schedule, including total costs, VAT, and breakdowns per ward/route.
• Bid submissions must include mandatory documents such as company registration, tax compliance status, and proof of ownership or partnership details.
• Compliance with the municipality’s procurement policies, including anti-corruption and supply chain management regulations.
• Adherence to the specified bid validity period of 90 days from the closing date.
• Provision of a signed contract agreement upon award, including filling out and signing the prescribed contract form (MBD7).
