Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure transport services for students and staff at Sasolburg sites on an as-and-when basis. Additionally, the tender seeks to establish a panel of suppliers for various services and goods, including catering, cleaning, maintenance, and other operational needs, with a focus on local supplier participation where possible.

Scope

The scope of the tender encompasses:

• Provision of transport services for students and staff at Sasolburg sites.
• Supply, installation, and maintenance of air conditioning units at Sasolburg and Moqhaka sites.
• Supply and rental of gas bottles for workshops at Sasolburg.
• Provision of personal protective equipment and consumables.
• Cleaning equipment and consumables delivery to Kroonstad and Mphohadi sites.
• Copying, binding, laminating, and related printing services.
• Medical testing services for students.
• Supply of steel for student projects.
• Delivery of cleaning equipment and consumables to Sasolburg.
• Design, printing, and supply of corporate marketing materials.
• Catering services for various needs.
• Provision of internal audit services, website maintenance, photocopy leasing, and other miscellaneous services as detailed in the tender documents.

The tender includes specific categories for fixed-term contracts and a panel of suppliers, with the panel valid until December 2028.

Technical Requirements

Service providers must adhere to the following technical requirements:

• Submit a valid SARS tax clearance PIN to verify tax compliance.
• Provide a current CSD report; submissions without it may be disqualified.
• Submit a municipal rates and taxes account not in arrears for more than 3 months or a lease/rental agreement for business premises.
• Ensure compliance with the National Treasury quotation defaulters register; disqualified if listed.
• Complete the application form to register on the College database, limited to two commodities per service provider.
• Company profile submission is mandatory.
• Comply with the College’s Supply Chain Management Policy and National Treasury Regulations.
• Pricing will be evaluated on an 80/20 principle—80% for price and 20% for B-BBEE status.
• All tenders must be sealed, endorsed with the tender number and company name, and deposited into the designated tender box before the closing date.
• No late, faxed, or emailed tenders will be accepted.
• Service providers must deliver certificates and/or goods/services only after confirmed delivery and payment.
• All submissions will be handled in accordance with POPIA to ensure confidentiality, with personal information used solely for evaluation purposes.
