The primary objective of this tender is to procure and install a material handling system within the blasting booth at Armscor Dockyard, Simonstown. The system aims to enhance productivity, improve safety, and ensure compliance with legislative requirements. Specifically, the project involves the design, supply, delivery, installation, commissioning, and testing of equipment such as an overhead monorail crane and a winching system to facilitate efficient handling of heavy metallic components during surface preparation processes.
