Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a service provider capable of providing transport services for students and staff at Sasolburg sites on an as-and-when basis. The successful bidder will be expected to deliver reliable transportation to meet the needs of Flavius Mareka TVET College, ensuring continuous service delivery as per the agreed terms and conditions.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes:

• Provision of transport services for students and staff at Sasolburg sites.
• Operation on an as-and-when basis, forming part of a panel of service providers.
• Adherence to service level agreements, with provisions for termination if service standards are not met.
• Completion of contractual obligations through signing of a formal contract or Service Level Agreement.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the tender include:

• Submission of bids on official forms, with no re-typing of forms allowed; annexures may be used for clarifications.
• Bids must be sealed in an envelope with the bid number clearly visible.
• Deposit of bids in the designated bid box located at Room T54, Central Office, Flavius Mareka TVET College, Sasolburg, during specified hours (Monday to Thursday 9:00 – 16:00, Friday 9:00 – 12:30).
• Submission of all required particulars, including:
  • Bidder’s name, postal and street addresses, contact numbers, email address, and VAT registration number.
  • Proof of valid Tax PIN, B-BBEE status level verification certificate, latest municipal account, and proof of registration on the Supplier Database.
  • Proof of CIDB grading and registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD).
  • Signature of the bidder, date, and capacity under which the bid is signed.
• Compliance with the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act, 2011, and related regulations.
• Provision of the total tender/quote price (including VAT) and the total number of items offered.
