Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure and lease alternative office accommodation measuring approximately 4,933 m² with 200 secured parking bays, located in Centurion, Midrand, Woodmead, or Pretoria East suburbs. The lease is intended for a period of 5 years to support the Department of International Relations and Cooperation (NEPAD).

The tender also aims to ensure that the selected premises meet government standards, specifications, and responsiveness criteria, including compliance with relevant legislation and regulations, to facilitate effective departmental operations.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Compliance with legislation such as Electrical Wiring, Fire Fighting Regulations, Accessibility Regulations, Municipal By-laws, and Occupational Health and Safety Acts.
• Building should be of a standard acceptable to the Department, with proper security, accessibility, and safety features.
• Provision of photographs and a portfolio demonstrating building suitability.
• Compliance with functionality and responsiveness criteria, including location, client needs, grading, accessibility, and other specified standards.
• Adherence to the lease agreement terms, including lease period, renewal, and conditions for occupation.
