Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure office desks with three drawers for King Dinuzulu Hospital under the Department of Health in KwaZulu-Natal. Scope

The scope includes the supply and delivery of 23 office desks with three drawers, designed with specific features such as stainless steel legs, chrome handles, melamine surfaces, and camlock with keys. The procurement covers all related technical and administrative processes, including sample submission, compliance verification, and adherence to specified standards.

Technical Requirements

• Office desks with dimensions of 1600 x 800 mm.
• Three-drawer fixed pedestal with camlock and keys.
• Stainless steel legs with centre support bar and panels.
• Chrome handles and 450 metal runners.
• Surface finish with melamine.
• Compliance with the detailed specifications attached, including size, colour, material, and design features.
• Samples must be submitted with brochures before the closing date.
• All products must meet the specified standards and be compliant with the procurement specifications.

Skills Requirements

• Ability to produce and supply office furniture that meets detailed technical specifications.
• Experience in delivering office furniture to government institutions, evidenced by prior orders and delivery proof.
• Capability to provide samples and brochures for evaluation.
• Knowledge of procurement procedures, including compliance with legal and administrative requirements such as the Central Supplier Database, B-BBEE certification, and tax compliance.
• Understanding of the Department’s evaluation and selection criteria, including preference points and technical compliance.
• Ability to provide documentation supporting preference claims and compliance with specifications.
