Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver Learner Teacher Support Material for the Khayelitsha Early Childhood Development Programme over a period of five months. The aim is to provide necessary educational resources and materials to support early childhood education at various centres within Khayelitsha.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Supply and delivery of learner and teacher support materials, appliances, and furniture as specified in the Goods Information document.
• Provision of a comprehensive range of educational materials across different activity areas such as Table-Top Activities, Ring Area, Book Area, Gross Motor Area, Fantasy Area, Fine Motor Area, and Outdoor Play Area.
• Delivery to various designated ECD centres in Khayelitsha, including specific centres listed in the scope of work.
• Implementation of the scope over a five-month period, ensuring timely delivery to all specified locations.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Provision of goods as detailed in the Goods Information and Scope of Work documents, including specific items such as tables, chairs, charts, books, educational toys, and outdoor equipment.
• Adherence to specifications for each item, including dimensions, materials, and safety standards.
• Delivery of goods to multiple sites within Khayelitsha, as per the attached schedule.
• Compliance with relevant South African legislation and standards, particularly regarding asbestos management and safety, if applicable.
• Provision of all necessary documentation, including price schedules, product specifications, and compliance certificates.

Skills Requirements

The skills required for this tender include:

• Procurement and logistics management to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials.
