Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure SETA-accredited chainsaw operator safety training for 25 emerging contractors. The training aims to equip both novice and experienced operators with the necessary knowledge and skills to safely and effectively use chainsaws for forestry, agriculture, landscaping, and conservation tasks, ensuring compliance with industry safety standards.

Scope

The scope includes the facilitation of a 4-day chainsaw safety training course for emerging contractors. The training covers chainsaw operations, maintenance, timber felling techniques, and safety standards. The service provider must deliver the training to 25 participants and provide certificates of attendance. The total RFQ amount will not exceed R300,000.
