Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a panel of service providers for the supply, delivery, and installation of office furniture across all PSiRA offices over a period of 5 years. The aim is to procure high-quality, durable, and ergonomically designed furniture that enhances workspace functionality, comfort, and aesthetics, ensuring modern office standards are met.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Manufacturing/supplying, delivering, and assembling/installing office furniture as per Annexure A.
• Providing related services such as furniture layout planning, on-site fitting, and ad hoc furniture-related goods or services, including custom or specialized furniture (e.g., orthopedic chairs).
• Delivering all furniture and equipment within 4 weeks of request.
• Providing additional furniture-related services like assembly, start-up, operation, maintenance, and repair, as required.
• Supporting the supply chain for furniture needs across all PSiRA offices nationally for 5 years.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Provision of furniture that meets ergonomic, durability, and aesthetic standards suitable for modern offices.
• Manufacture or supply of furniture with samples provided prior to production where applicable.
• On-site furniture fitting and layout planning by qualified personnel, including ad hoc services with furniture layouts prepared by qualified professionals.
• Delivery and installation within 4 weeks of request.
• Provision of related services such as assembly, maintenance, repairs, and technical support.
• Compliance with all specifications outlined in Annexure A and adherence to quality standards.

Skills Requirements

The skills and expertise required from service providers include:

• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in furniture supply and installation.
• Capability to provide detailed project planning, including sourcing, delivery, and installation timelines.
• Ability to supply five (5) signed, contactable reference letters demonstrating successful past projects within the last 36 months.
• Knowledge of furniture layout design, including furniture fitting and ergonomic considerations.
• Qualified personnel for furniture assembly, start-up, maintenance, and repair services.
• Financial stability evidenced by company profile and relevant documentation.
• Understanding of procurement regulations, preference points, and compliance with bid submission requirements.
