Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a service provider to deliver training on Advanced Acquisition Management. The training aims to enhance the understanding and implementation of acquisition processes within the public sector, ensuring participants can effectively manage bids, quotations, and adjudicate procurement activities.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Providing face-to-face training to fourteen (14) employees of the Agency on Advanced Acquisition Management.
• Training duration of 5 days, covering learning outcomes such as understanding acquisition management, implementing processes, and evaluating bids.
• Delivering training aligned with specified learning outcomes and ensuring comprehensive coverage of the unit standards.
• Providing a certificate of competency upon successful completion, including a summative assessment.
• Including venue arrangements, refreshments, and all necessary training resources.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the training include:

• Training must be face-to-face, structured according to the specified learning outcomes.
• The service provider must be accredited by the relevant Quality Council to deliver training on Advanced Acquisition Management.
• Facilitators must have appropriate training qualifications, accreditation by a SETA, and experience in adult training.
• The provider must demonstrate capacity to facilitate on-site, adult-oriented training with suitable resources and facilities.
• Provision of a final evaluation report detailing achievements, challenges, and improvement proposals.

Skills Requirements

The service provider and facilitators should possess:

• Clear understanding of Skills Development legislation, SAQA standards, SETA landscape, and Public Service Regulations.
• Strong facilitation skills for adult learners in a work environment.
• Relevant training qualifications and experience in delivering similar courses.
• Ability to develop and implement effective training methodologies and approaches.
• Proven track record of facilitating similar training projects, supported by references and contactable letters of recommendation.
• Facilitators and assessors must be accredited by the relevant SETA.
