Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure catering services for the Council Chambers in Vredenburg on specific dates, ensuring provision of meals that meet specified dietary and packing requirements for an event scheduled on 16 and 17 February 2026.

Scope

The scope includes the supply and delivery of catering services for two days, catering to 22 people each day, with specific dietary needs such as halaal options. The services encompass meal preparation, packaging, and timely delivery to the designated venue, along with provision of beverages and necessary utensils.

Technical Requirements

• Provision of individually packed meals for each attendee, including halaal options.
• Meals for Day 1: Fish and Greek salad, and Bobotie with rice.
• Meals for Day 2: Chicken leg quarter with potato salad.
• Food must be individually packed and wrapped, with serviettes, forks, and juices also individually packed for each person.
• Delivery to the Council Chambers at the specified date and time (16 & 17 February 2026, at 12:00).
• Pricing must include delivery charges.
• All catering must conform to the specifications provided, with any non-conforming items subject to additional costs recovery.

Skills Requirements

• Proven experience in providing catering services for official events or similar functions.
• Ability to prepare and package meals according to dietary and hygiene standards.
• Capability to deliver meals punctually to the specified venue.
• Compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper waste management and disposal.
• Knowledge of halal catering standards and certification requirements.
• Ability to complete and submit all required documentation, including preference points claim forms, declarations, and relevant certificates.
