Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure comprehensive social media services for Johannesburg Water SOC Limited. The services aim to enhance social media presence, engagement, and management through strategic planning, content creation, community management, social listening, advertising, reporting, and crisis communication support. The overarching goal is to improve communication, stakeholder engagement, and reputation management via effective social media strategies over a six-month period.

Scope

The scope includes, but is not limited to, the following services:

• Strategy, Planning, and Governance
• Content Creation and Execution

• Social Listening and Sentiment Monitoring
• Social Media Advertising
• Reporting and Insights
• Crisis Communication Support
• Coordination and Meetings

Contract duration is for six (6) consecutive months, with deliverables aligned to the specified services and performance reporting requirements.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements specify that service providers must:

• Develop and implement a social media strategy aligned with Johannesburg Water’s objectives.
• Create engaging and relevant content for various social media platforms.
• Manage online communities, respond to inquiries, and foster engagement.
• Utilize social listening tools to monitor sentiment and feedback.
• Set up, optimize, and manage social media advertising campaigns.
• Provide monthly and campaign-specific performance reports with insights.
• Offer crisis communication support when necessary.
• Coordinate regular meetings and updates with Johannesburg Water’s team.
