Objectives

The primary objectives of the Human Resource Management Programme are to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively manage HR functions within an organization. By the end of the course, participants should be able to understand HR roles, apply labour legislation, conduct training needs analyses, implement performance management systems, manage employee relations, and align HR initiatives with organizational strategies.

Scope

The scope of the tender encompasses the delivery of a short course in Human Resource Management Training over a duration of 4 days. The training content covers various HR topics including introduction to HR, labour legislation, workforce planning, training needs analysis, performance management, employee relations, HR reporting, and strategic HR alignment. The service provider must be accredited and capable of providing comprehensive training aligned with the specified content and assessment requirements.

Technical Requirements

• The service provider must be an accredited entity with proven expertise in HR training.
• The training must be delivered over 4 days, incorporating all specified content areas.
• Assessment of participants will be through a Portfolio of Evidence (POE).
• Training materials and documentation must cover all modules, including HR reporting, record keeping, and strategic alignment.
• The provider must ensure compliance with relevant labour laws and skills development legislation.
• Participants should be able to demonstrate knowledge and practical skills in HR functions upon completion.

Skills Requirements

• Expertise in Human Resource Management principles and practices.
• Knowledge of South African labour legislation and compliance requirements.
• Ability to conduct training needs analyses and develop Workplace Skills Plans.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing performance management systems.
• Skills in managing employee relations, conflict resolution, and workplace engagement.
• Competence in HR reporting, data analysis, and record keeping.
