Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure transportation services for employees from various locations, including Kosmos Park, Flora Park, Margenzon, Mayerville & Town, Sakhile, Thuthukani, and Extension 8, to Tutuka Power Station. The transportation is required on an as-and-when basis over a period of 60 months.

Scope

The scope of the tender encompasses the provision of reliable and safe transportation services for employees traveling between specified pick-up points and Tutuka Power Station. The services are to be rendered as required throughout the 60-month contract period, ensuring timely and efficient employee movement.

Technical Requirements

• Provision of suitable vehicles capable of transporting employees safely and comfortably.
• Adherence to all relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Flexibility to provide transportation services on an as-needed basis, with the ability to respond promptly to Eskom’s scheduling requirements.
• Maintenance of vehicles to ensure operational reliability throughout the contract duration.
• Compliance with Eskom’s operational and safety standards.

Skills Requirements

• Competent drivers with valid licenses and a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of the routes and locations involved in the transportation service.
• Ability to operate and manage the E-Tendering solution effectively, including self-training via the provided guides or videos.
• Good communication skills for coordination and reporting purposes.
• Understanding of safety protocols and customer service standards.
