Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to select a qualified service provider to supply security services to Ntabankulu Local Municipality for a period of twenty-four (24) months. The goal is to ensure effective security management within the municipal premises, adhering to specified standards and requirements.

Scope

The scope encompasses the provision of comprehensive security services at the Ntabankulu Local Municipality premises, including the Town Hall and other designated areas. The services are to be delivered over a 24-month period, with adherence to the minimum specifications outlined in the bid document. The scope also involves attending a compulsory briefing session, submitting mandatory documentation, and complying with evaluation criteria.

Technical Requirements

• Provision of security personnel with valid PSIRA registration certificates.
• Implementation of a detailed work plan including security registers, communication tools (Garret, radios, or cell phones), uniforms, duty rosters, and shift schedules.
• Compliance with occupational health and safety plans.
• Provision of proof of municipal rates clearance for the company and all Directors or a signed lease agreement.
• Application on the Central Supplier Database for business registration with all organs of the State.
• Submission of mandatory documents such as tax clearance, audited financial statements (for bids above 10 million), company registration proof, ID copies, and good standing certificates.
• Participation in the compulsory briefing session scheduled for 15 May 2026.

Skills Requirements

• Supervisors must possess a Grade A or Grade B qualification, with relevant PSIRA registration certificates.
• Supervisory CVs demonstrating relevant experience and qualifications.
• Demonstrated understanding of security service methodologies, including work planning, use of security tools, and shift management.
• Experience in implementing similar security projects for at least 12 months, supported by appointment and reference letters.
