The primary objective of this tender is to procure 10Gbps managed bandwidth links to support the Free State Extensions network. The aim is to establish reliable, high-capacity connectivity between specified sites over a contract period of either 5 or 10 years, depending on the option selected.
The scope includes the provision of managed bandwidth links connecting the following sites:

The procurement also covers potential costs for cross-connects between the supplier's equipment and CSIR's infrastructure, as well as service level costs including monitoring, maintenance, and repairs.
