Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure the supply and delivery of cleaning hardware to Ehlanzeni District Municipality. Scope

The scope encompasses the supply and delivery of various cleaning hardware items, including:

• Heavy Duty Refuge Bags
• Flat Mops, Long Mops, Short Mops with handles
• Water-resistant Gloves
• Dishwashing Sponges and Foam Scourers
• Extendable and Feather Dusters
• Window Squeegee Washers and Aluminium Telepoles
• Dustpans, Brooms, Toilet Brushes, Steel Wool, Scrubbing Brushes
• Extension Cords

The items are specified in detail with quantities and descriptions, and the total bid price must cover all listed items.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Items must meet the specifications detailed in the tender document, including material quality, dimensions, and durability.
• Items should be new, unused, and suitable for municipal cleaning operations.
• The total quoted amount for all items must be transferred to the MBD1 form as the TOTAL BID PRICE; incomplete pricing will result in disqualification.
• Suppliers must provide supporting documents such as a full CSD report (not older than 3 months), affidavits confirming banking details, and proof of business registration.
• Compliance with the Supply Chain Management policies, including anti-fraud measures, is mandatory.

Skills and Qualification Requirements

The tender specifies the following skills and qualifications for service providers:

• Business registration with the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC).
• Valid lease agreements or proof of residence/address for both the tenderer and entity owners/directors where municipal accounts are not issued.
• Tax compliance, including a valid SARS TCS PIN or CSD number.
• Declaration of interest and disclosure of any relationships with persons in service of the state involved in the evaluation or adjudication process.
• Adherence to ethical standards, including declaration of past supply chain management practices and absence of fraudulent conduct.
• Capability to supply the specified quantities and meet delivery deadlines.
