Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver electricity materials required for the Security Guard Room in Ficksburg Unit, as specified in FWPQ 235 (2025/26). The successful service provider will be responsible for providing the specified goods within a stipulated timeframe to ensure operational needs are met.

Scope

The scope encompasses the supply and delivery of electricity materials as detailed in the item description table. The successful bidder must deliver the goods within 2 days of receiving the official purchase order, unless an alternative delivery period is specified by the bidder. The scope also includes compliance with all technical and legal requirements outlined in the tender documentation.

Technical Requirements

• Delivery of specified electricity materials for the Security Guard Room in Ficksburg Unit.
• Delivery must be completed within 2 days of receipt of the purchase order, unless otherwise indicated.
• Quoted prices must be valid for 30 days.
• Compliance with the municipality’s procurement and legal standards, including adherence to the 80/20 criteria under the Framework Act No 5 of 2000 and its 2022 regulations.
• Provision of necessary documentation to verify B-BBEE status, ownership, and other socio-economic goals as specified.

Skills and Requirements

The tender requires bidders to demonstrate:

• Ability to deliver goods within the specified timeframe.
• Valid and verifiable B-BBEE certification or affidavits for categories such as Black-owned, Women-owned, Disabled-owned, and Youth-owned enterprises.
