Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to invite suitable service providers to bid for various projects, including the provision of short-term insurance and security services for Makhado Municipality. The aim is to select qualified providers who can meet the specified technical and legal requirements to deliver these services effectively.

Scope

The scope of the tender encompasses the following projects:

• Provision of short-term insurance coverage for a period of one (01) year.
• Provision of security services for a period of three (03) years, including the issuance of security firearm licenses for security personnel.

These services are to be delivered at the Civic Centre, 83 Krogh Street, Makhado, with specific requirements for registration, licensing, and compliance as detailed in the bid documents.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for bidders include:

• Certified copy of registration with the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA).
• Proof of registration with the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA) for security services, with security grades A or B for directors.
• Certificate of good standing from the relevant authorities.
• Company liability insurance certificate.
• Finger print clearance certificate from South African Police Services (SAPS) for all directors.
• Certificate of registration with the Compensation Commissioner (COIDA).
• Audited financial statements (as required by law).
• Certified copies of relevant licenses and legal documents.

Skills Requirements

Applicants must demonstrate the following skills and qualifications:

• Legal and regulatory compliance expertise in insurance and security services.
