Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to secure supply and delivery of consumables to Johannesburg City Parks and Zoo (JCPZ). The initiative aims to ensure the availability of essential consumables such as stationery, cleaning materials, refreshments, and related items to support the operational needs of JCPZ, promote service excellence, and uphold ethical standards in procurement and service delivery.

Scope

The scope encompasses the supply and delivery of various consumables including stationery, cleaning materials, and refreshments as detailed in the specifications. It also involves appointment to a panel of service providers for these items, adherence to procurement policies, and compliance with all relevant regulations. The contract covers the supply of specified quantities of consumables, submission of quotations, and participation in site briefings and evaluations.

Technical Requirements

• Completion of the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and specifications as per the tender documents.
• Provision of valid compliance documents including COIDA certificates, joint venture agreements (if applicable), and registration on the Central Supplier Database.
• Adherence to delivery timelines, with quotations to be submitted in specified boxes at JCPZ head office on designated dates.
• Completion and submission of required tender forms such as MBD 1, MBD 3.1, MBD 4, MBD 6.1, MBD 8, and MBD 9.
• Compliance with evaluation criteria, including technical and administrative requirements.
• Registration on the National Treasury CSD system and provision of CSD vendor number.
• Adherence to COVID-19 restrictions regarding submission procedures.
