NATIONAL DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS DURBAN INVITES TENDERS FOR SERVICE,REPAIR OR REPLACE OF FIRE
EQUIPMENT,GAS SUPPRESSION CONTROL PANEL SYSTEM,BAR GAS CYLINDERS, FIRE SPRINKLES AND FIRE PUMP
PLANT.
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 1SF or higher.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who 1 SF or Higher
Only tenderers who Submit SBD 3.1 - Pricing Schedule: Firm Price - Fully Completed.
Bidding companies must provide proof that their employed technicians or artisans are authorized Gas Practitioners ,registered with
SAQCC for gas and fire .A valid copy of the SAQCC registration card must be submitted with the quotation for evaluation. Failure to
comply may result in disqualification.
Submit references from previous clients , including contact details and a brief overview of the services provided. Proof of past
experience and successful completion of similar projects with the value above R 350 000.00 and must included a letter of award and a
completion certificate.
The Department will not appoint a bidder that has been awarded a service or contract of similar nature within the NDPWI – (Durban
Regional Office) running con-currently (advertised in January to April 2026) for equity and fair distribution of work amongst services
providers.
Bidder to do site inspection for detail overview of what to be done. Site Inspection/Visit Control Form to be completed, Stamped and
signed by Client Department as proof of inspection are eligible to submit tenders.
